The Windows System Tray refers to the area on the Windows desktop where the current time and
certain running program icons can be found. It is typically found in the bottom right-hand
corner of the screen
PC Chaperone places an icon on the system tray that appears as a green triangle. Right-clicking
on this icon will open a menu with the following options:

Disable Monitor
|

This menu option will close the monitor service and disable it so it does not restart when
the computer is restarted. The monitor can be re-enabled using the configuration console,
or by manually running the program PCCMon.exe found in the PC Chaperone installation directory
The Administrator's Password is required to access this menu option

Close Monitor
|
|
|
This menu option will close the monitor service. As soon as the user logs off and back on
the monitor will restart

Set Timeout
|
|
|
This menu option allows administrators to lock the computer until any point in the future
The Administrator's Password is required to access this menu option

User Info
|
|
|
This menu option displays the current Windows user name, the current PC Chaperone user
account, and security policy being enforced
|
|
|
|
View Schedules
|
|
|
This menu option is used to view all schedule limits for the current policy as well as
and instant messenger schedule limits
These schedules will also indicate the amount of time remaining for any schedule that
includes a maximum daily duration
|

|
|
Log Off
|
|
|
This menu option logs off the current PC Chaperone user and opens the login form
so another user can log in
This option is only available if the
User Account Type
is set to unique PC Chaperone users
